Currently she is part of the educational program of contemporary art SOMA 2017-2019 in Mexico City. She studied Plastic Arts at the University of Sonora and at the National School of Plastic Arts ENAP-UNAM, Mexico City. 2006-2011. Also she was part of the Art Program: Strategies and production processes in contemporary art 2015 in Hermosillo, Sonora. Miriam Salado has five individual exhibitions; Estío, 206 Contemporary Art, Tijuana, Baja California 2018; Black Landscape, Impala Projects, Ciudad Juárez Chihuahua 2017, Devastated Memory in Celda Contemporánea, Mexico, D. F. 2017, Detritus. Vestigios de la Arena at Museo de Arte de Sonora, Hermosillo, Sonora 2016 and El Cartel de los Pesados at the gallery of the Sonoran Institute of Culture, Hermosillo, Sonora 2013. Collectively exhibited in Mexico, D.F .; Acme Room No.4, 2016, Puebla; Creation in movement, San Pedro Art Museum 2014, Culiacán, Sinaloa; Time and space, Frida Kahlo Gallery 2016, Tijuana, Baja California; Environmental conditions, City Gallery 2015, Hermosillo, Sonora; Sense and descordura, Museum of Art of Sonora 2016, among others.
She obtained the acquisition prize in the State Photography Contest 2015 and the Eighth Visual Arts Biennial of Sonora 2012. Honorable mention in the thirteenth Visual Arts Biennial of the Northwest in Culiacán, Sinaloa 2011. Scholar of the State Fund for Culture and Artes de Sonora FECAS 2012-2013 and National Fund for Culture and Arts FONCA 2013-2014. Her work has been published in La Tempestad, Pez Banana, Milenio newspaper and El Imparcial newspaper.
Currently lives and works in Mexico City.
